Siddaramaiah: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah ranks third on the list with declared assets exceeding Rs 51 crore. Although his assets are significantly lower than those of Naidu and Khandu, he remains wealthier than many other Indian Chief Ministers.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is the poorest in the country, with assets of just Rs 15.38 lakh, followed by Jammu & Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah (Rs 55.24 lakh) and Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan (Rs 1.18 crore).
CMs With Low Assets: Several Chief Ministers have modest assets, including Rajasthan’s Bhajan Lal Sharma (Rs 1.46 crore), Uttar Pradesh’s Yogi Adityanath (Rs 1.54 crore), Bihar’s Nitish Kumar (Rs 1.64 crore), Punjab’s Bhagwant Mann (Rs 1.97 crore), Odisha’s Mohan Charan Majhi (Rs 1.97 crore), and Chhattisgarh’s Vishnu Dev Sai (Rs 3.80 crore).
CMs’ Education and Age: Among 30 Chief Ministers, nine are graduates, six are professional graduates, nine hold postgraduate degrees, two have doctorates, one has a diploma, three have completed 12th grade, and one has passed 10th grade. By age, eight CMs are 41–50 years old, 12 are 51–60, four are 61–70, and six are 71–80.
Low Representation Of Women: Among 30 Chief Ministers, only two are women, Mamata Banerjee of West Bengal and Rekha Gupta of Delhi. Additionally, 12 CMs have declared criminal cases against themselves, highlighting disparities in wealth, education, and criminal records in Indian politics.
