A man killed nine people, including five children, with a sharp object in Paramaribo, Suriname. The suspect was wounded and arrested, police and hospital authorities confirmed.
Following the incident, police opened fire injuring the suspect and arrested him.
A man stabbed to death nine people, including five children, in Suriname’s capital Paramaribo, police said on Sunday, adding the suspect was wounded and arrested.
“During the night from Saturday, December 27, to Sunday, December 28, a male individual killed… four adults and five children with a sharp object," police said quoting hospital authorities.
