Calling Trevor Noah's remarks "defamatory," Trump said he had never visited the island and questioned how the comedian could make such an accusation when, he claimed, not even the "fake news media" had dared to do so.

Donald Trump said he would sue comedian Trevor Noah after the latter claimed at the Grammy Awards that the US President had spent time on Epstein Island. Trump dismissed the remark as "wrong" and went on to slam the event as "the worst" and "virtually unwatchable."

"The Grammy Awards are the WORST, virtually unwatchable! CBS is lucky not to have this garbage litter their airwaves any longer. The host, Trevor Noah, whoever he may be, is almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel at the Low Ratings Academy Awards. Noah said, INCORRECTLY about me, that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island. WRONG!!!," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Calling Noah’s remarks "defamatory," Trump said he had never visited the island and questioned how the comedian could make such an accusation when, he claimed, not even the "fake news media" had dared to do so.

"I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, have never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media," he added.

Calling Noah a "total loser" and threatening legal action, Trump said, "It looks like I’ll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an MC, and suing him for plenty $. Ask Little George Slopadopolus, and others, how that all worked out. Also ask CBS! Get ready Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you! President DJT."

Noah took repeated jabs at Trump, at one point saying that every artist covets the “Song of the Year” award just as the US President wants Greenland. He then went on to say that it made sense for Trump to hanker for another island after Epstein’s island was gone, as he needed a new one to spend time with Clinton.

As the audience gasped, Noah added, "Oh I told you it’s my last year! What are you going to do about it?"
