‘Small Hobby Drone’ Forces Brief Runway Closure At Oslo Airport

Oslo’s main airport closed one runway for 20 minutes after a small hobby drone was spotted nearby, Avinor reported. Normal flight operations resumed after the disruption.

Oslo’s main airport temporarily shut one of its two runways on Sunday after a drone was spotted in the vicinity, as stated by Avinor, Norway’s state owned airport operator.

According to the operator, the disruption was caused by a “small hobby drone" and lasted for around 20 minutes, after which normal flight operations were resumed.
