Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: We are in the second half of the day's trade, and the markets are seeing some revcovery from the lows. Despite starting strong, the market is volatile and the bulls are trading on a cautious note. The Nifty has cut losses to about 20 points, trading near 24,200. The Nifty Bank index is down 100 points, trading below the 57,900 mark. HDFC Bank, Shriram Fin and Hindalco are top losers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are moving on a volatile note. After starting on a strong note, the markets have given up all their gains in the matter of minutes. The Nifty is now down nearly 100 points from the opening highs of the day, slipping below 24,200.
In this session, the bulls would hope to see Nifty protect the 24,200 mark. The 24,500 mark will be key to watch out for on the upside.
As we move towards the end of trading in the month of August, one of the biggest focal points will be the Jackson Hole symposium that will be held between August 27–29, 2026.
Moving further ahead into this week, macro and global factors, along with company-wise outputs, will remain to movement in the market. As for the US markets remained largely flat even as Brent softened below $88 per barrel.
