Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: We are in the second half of the trade, and markets are largely muted, with benchmarks moving in a rangebound manner. The Nifty is around 22,700. The Nifty Bank is above 55,100. Infosys, Nestle and Coal India are top gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are back under pressure after a splendid session. The Nifty is down and below the 22,700 mark as the bulls hope to sustain some momentum. The Sensex index is also marginally lower, slipping below 73,000.
For Nifty, on the lower end, holding to 22,700 would be critical; chasing the 23,000 mark will be crucial.
The Nifty Bank index is also fighting the bears, and is down just about 100 points.
Earnings are at the front and centre, in the first proper week of the Q2 results season some of the stocks that are in focus after announcing their results are Hero Motors, ICICI Pru, Trans and Rectifiers, Tata Elxsi, and more.
Other companies that are slated to announce their results are Bajaj Consumer, BHEL, Tata Tech, Leela Hotels among others.
