Nifty is below 24,100, having fallne 100 points from highs. The Nifty Bank is largely negative, down 100 points. The index has fallen below the 57,500 mark. TCS, Tech Mahindra and Infosys are the top gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It past noon at Dalal Street, and this Friday session has turned on its head as the indices fall under pressure after giving up gains. The market has lost its resilience, trying to hold critical levels today. The Nifty is down 100 points from its highs, falling below above the 24,100 mark. The Sensex is also up, jumping over 300 points and moving to 77,200.
The market is now staring down at a third straight week in red.
The Nifty Bank is under pressure and has now fallen over 100 points, falling below the 57,500 mark.
As we move towards the end of trading in the month of August, one of the biggest focal points will be the Jackson Hole symposium that will be held between August 27–29, 2026.
