Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets return to the bourse for a new week even as the situation in West Asia remains concerningly convoluted. The Nifty closed flat on Friday, however for the week, the 50-stock index stumbled into red, yet again, for the second straight week.
It was not all gloomy though, as the Nifty Bank index that closed over 250 higher on Friday, also made gains for the week.
The broader market outperformed the benchmark, with the Nifty Midcap 100 rising 0.10% and the Nifty Smallcap 100 gaining 0.69%.
Brent crude remains obstinately high, now hovering around the $94 mark.
Moving into this new week macro and global factors, along company wise outputs will remain to movement in the market.
As we go into this session, some of the stocks to watch out for the day include Reliance Industries, NATCO Pharma, Bank of Baroda and more
