Elon Musk dismissed allegations linking him to the Epstein files, saying “nobody fought harder for its release than I did", and mentioned that he pushed for the full disclosure of the files and prosecution of those who abused children despite knowing it would invite personal attacks and sustained smears.

In a post on X, Musk said he was aware that “legacy media, far-left propagandists and those who are actually guilty" would respond by denying wrongdoing and making counter-accusations against him.

Musk said he anticipated being “smeared relentlessly" even though he claims he never attended Jeffrey Epstein’s parties, never flew on the “Lolita Express", never visited Epstein’s island and “never did anything wrong at all".

Acknowledging the toll of the allegations, Musk said the pain of being accused was still worth it if it helped protect vulnerable children.

“The strong must protect those who cannot protect themselves, especially vulnerable children," he wrote, adding that he was willing to accept “any amount of future pain" to ensure children are protected and given a chance to grow up safely.
