Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that the country is preparing for “several waves of Iranian attacks" following its airstrikes on military and nuclear sites inside Iran. In a video statement, Benjamin Netanyahu said, “We expect to be exposed to several waves of Iranian attacks," in what could become a significant escalation in the conflict between the two countries.
His remarks came shortly after Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote to the United Nations Security Council, accusing Israel of “reckless aggression" and calling for an emergency meeting. Abbas Araghchi urged the international body to “strongly condemn this act of aggression" and take immediate steps to hold Israel “fully accountable for its crimes."

Iran described the Israeli strikes as a “brazen and unlawful act" that violated the UN Charter and international law. “Israel, the most terrorist regime in the world, has now crossed every red line," Abbas Araghchi wrote, further warning that Iran would “respond decisively and proportionately".

US President Donald Trump strongly backed Israel’s strikes on Iran, calling the operation “excellent" and warning that there could be “more to come." He said that he had given Iran a 60-day ultimatum to reach a nuclear deal, which expired just a day before the Israeli assault.
“They should have done it! Today is day 61," Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, adding that Iran now “perhaps" has a second chance to make a deal, indicating that further military action may follow if diplomacy is not pursued.
Donald Trump declined to confirm whether the United States had played any role in the operation., saying, “I don’t want to comment on that."
