However, a new report suggests Apple could do something that other rival brands have not been able to pull off so far this year and that is linked to the iPhone 18 Pro launch price.

The report from analyst Jeff Pu, quoted by MacRumors suggests Apple is looking to absorb any possible price hike because of the components, and keep the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max launch price at the same range.

The new update hints that the iPhone 18 Pro could once again start at $1,099 while the iPhone 18 Pro Max costs $1,199 for the base variant in the US. The report is mostly basing its estimates on possible deals that Apple can make with Samsung and other suppliers, even though the new models are expected to come with notable upgrades.

But will we see the new iPhone 18 Pro series launch at the same price in India as well? It will be hard to say that right now but going by Apple’s focus on being aggressive and focused in the country, the brand might try its best to launch the iPhone 18 Pro around the existing price. Having said that, the ongoing currency levels could determine how that pans out at launch.

The upcoming iPhone 18 Pro Max model could get different battery packs based on regions later this year. The leak via Digital Chat Station suggests the iPhone 18 Pro Max in China will launch with a 5,000mAh battery which will make it marginally bigger than the regular iPhone 17 Pro Max model. But the tipster also claims that the global version of the 18 Pro Max could feature an even bigger 5,100 or 5,200mAh unit.
