“He stole my childhood, my innocence, and my future." The testimonies from the survivors of sexual abuse at the hands of financier Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplices are full of horror. Years after the files outlining Epstein’s extensive sexual offences first emerged, survivors continue to come forward with harrowing recollections — both in courts and in the media. Their accounts expose a pattern of manipulation, coercion, and abuse that spanned decades and involved hundreds of victims. For many, the damage inflicted was not only physical but psychological, altering the course of their lives forever.

The latest such account is that of survivor Rina Oh, who broke decades of silence and spoke of what she endured as a young woman in the late 1990s. Oh describes how Epstein initially approached her with an offer that seemed like a scholarship and mentorship opportunity, only for it to turn into something far darker. According to her account, he told her, “I’m offering you a scholarship with no strings attached, and you never have to see me again," but then repeatedly pressured her to meet him and withdrew the supposed support when she resisted.

‘I was trapped’

Oh’s testimony draws chilling parallels to other survivors’ stories of isolation and entrapment. She recounts being taken to Florida, where she says she was left without money or a way to leave, surrounded by a world she didn’t understand and unable to find escape. She said Epstein threatened her with physical harm if she ever spoke out, deepening her sense of captivity and fear.

Oh also described the emotional and psychological toll of her experience, asserting that the abuse was about “psychological, emotional… devaluation" far beyond physical contact.

‘He robbed me of my innocence’

Jennifer Araoz, one of Epstein’s most widely reported accusers, has provided stark testimony about how the abuse affected her life. In court and public statements, she said: “He robbed me of my youth, my identity, my innocence and my self-worth." Araoz has also spoken about how long it took her to recognise and articulate what had happened to her, testifying that Epstein’s abuses left her with lasting shame and trauma.

‘I refused to let this man win’

Chauntae Davies has been among the most publicly vocal survivors. At a federal hearing in New York, she described being recruited to give Epstein “massages" and then raped by him over several years. She said, “I’ve suffered, and he has won. Every job offer… retracted because of my connection to this case — I have suffered." Yet she framed her persistence as resistance, saying “I refuse to let this man win." Davies made it clear that the abuse had shaped not just her past, but her present, as she continues to demand accountability.

‘My dreams were stolen’

Virginia Roberts Giuffre, perhaps the most widely known survivor of Epstein’s sex-trafficking network, recalled how her life was irrevocably altered by her experience. Giuffre wrote in her posthumous memoir that being drawn into Epstein’s circle “robbed me of my dreams" and that he used her youth and vulnerability in ways that changed her life trajectory. Her memoir goes into excruciating detail about grooming, coercion, and the psychological effects of sustained abuse by Epstein’s network and powerful associates.

Giuffre’s account tells not just of the abuse itself but of the fear, manipulation, and humiliation that persisted long after direct contact with Epstein ended.

‘Justice has never been served’

Courtney Wild, who was first targeted by Epstein when she was just 14 years old, echoed this sentiment in her own courtroom testimony. She described the pain of losing the opportunity to confront Epstein in court because he died before trial and expressed anger that the system failed to hold him fully accountable. Wild said: “Jeffrey Epstein has done nothing but manipulate our justice system," and that his death in custody had “robbed myself and all the other victims of our day in court."

These survivors’ voices cut through decades of silence to reveal not just isolated instances of abuse, but a deeply entrenched pattern of exploitation. Even years after Epstein’s death, the ongoing revelations from survivors like Rina Oh underscore the enduring impact of his crimes.
