Donald Trump vs Elon Musk
As Elon Musk condemned a major Donald Trump-backed spending bill, calling it a “disgusting abomination", the two were involved in a public spat. Following the end of Elon Musk’s advisory role related to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), the billionaire openly voiced his dissatisfaction with the administration’s policies as he urged primary challenges against Republican lawmakers who supported it.
Donald Trump warned Elon Musk of “very serious consequences" if he followed through with funding challengers to sitting GOP members.
“I have no intention of speaking to him," Donald Trump said at the time.
Elon Musk then posted a series of inflammatory comments linking Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein.
“Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!" Elon Musk wrote on his X platform, which has now been deleted.
Elon Musk also claimed that Donald Trump could not have won the election without his support and a quarter-billion dollars in political contributions.
“Such ingratitude," Elon Musk wrote on X, taking credit of Donald Trump’s election victory.
