Pakistan’s army chief General Asim Munir will not attend the June 14 United States military parade. The White House has denied that any foreign military leader was invited to the event in Washington, which marks the 250th anniversary of the US Armed Forces and coincides with former President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday.
Sources, though, said Munir is expected to be in the US and may meet some officials from the military there.
The 250th Army Day parade is set to proceed as a grand celebration of American military history and pride. Key highlights include:
