The US Department of State on Monday said that it has revoked more than 100,000 visas. The announcement was shared in a post on social media platform X.
According to the department, the revoked visas include around 8,000 student visas and about 2,500 specialised visas who had previous encounters with US law enforcement related to “criminal activity".
“We will continue to deport these thugs to keep America safe," the department stated.
