Israel struck a defense system in Iran’s Isfahan, which the Israeli forces say was aimed to target the Air Force aircraft

“A defense system intended to strike Air Force aircraft in Isfahan was destroyed. These strikes join the effort to strike the fire arrays of the Iranian terror regime and deepen the IDF’s air superiority in the area”, said the IDF in a statement.

Israel launches attacks targeting Missile Launcher and Defense System in Isfahan and Kām in Iran, according to a statement by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

“Air Force aircraft attacked and destroyed, in the Kām area in Iran, a ballistic missile launcher armed and ready for launch toward the State of Israel”, said the IDF.

Iran announced Thursday it had targeted headquarters of Kurdish forces in Iraqi Kurdistan, according to Iranian state media.

“We targeted the headquarters of Kurdish groups opposed to the revolution in Iraqi Kurdistan with three missiles,” Iran’s official IRNA news agency posted on Telegram, citing a military statement.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky Wednesday announced his country is sending some of its military specialists to the Middle East to help counter Iranian drones and missiles.

In a post on ‘X’, Zelensky said he has tasked Ukraine’s minister of foreign affairs, minister of defense, intelligence agencies and the secretary of the Security and Defense Council of Ukraine “to present options for assisting the relevant countries and to provide aid in a way that does not weaken our own defense” in Ukraine.

The Qatari government has evacuated the US Embassy in capital Doha amid escalations in the region following Iranian strikes.

“The relevant authorities are evacuating residents living in the vicinity of the US Embassy as a temporary precautionary measure,” the nation’s Ministry of Interior posted on ‘X’.

While announcing the incoming attack from Iran, the Israel Defence Forces urged the public to ‘act responsibly’ and follow instructions.

“A short while ago, the IDF identified missiles launched from Iran toward the territory of the State of Israel. Defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat. In the past few minutes, the Home Front Command has sent a precautionary directive directly to mobile phones in the relevant areas. The public is asked to act responsibly and follow the instructions—they save lives”, it said in a statement.

“Upon receiving an alert, the public is instructed to enter a protected space and remain there until further notice. Leaving a protected space is permitted only after receiving explicit instructions. The public is requested to continue acting in accordance with the Home Front Command’s guidelines”, the statement added.

As aerial attacks in West Asia entered the sixth day, Iran launched missiles at Israel early Thursday, soon after an American submarine sank an Iranian warship.
