Trump said the US would target "easily destroyable” sites in Iran, potentially preventing the nation from rebuilding itself.

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday issued a strong warning to Iran and said that any attempt to disrupt oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz would trigger a response “twenty times harder" than they have been hit thus far.

“If Iran does anything that stops the flow of oil within the Strait of Hormuz, they will be hit by the United States of America twenty times harder than they have been hit thus far," the US President said in a post on Truth Social.

Trump said the US would target “easily destroyable" sites in Iran, potentially preventing the nation from rebuilding itself. “Death, Fire and Fury will reign upon them — But I hope, and pray, that it does not happen!" he added.

Trump further framed the warning as a gift for global trade, particularly benefiting China and other nations that heavily use the Strait of Hormuz for their oil shipments.

“This is a gift from the United States of America to China, and all of those Nations that heavily use the Hormuz Strait. Hopefully, it is a gesture that will be greatly appreciated," he added.

Trump Says Iran War ‘Pretty Much’ Over

As the conflict between US-Israel and Iran continues, US President Donald Trump has stated that the war is “very complete" and “pretty much over".

Speaking to CBS News, Trump stated that Tehran has nothing left in a “military sense". “They have no navy, no communications, they’ve got no air force. Their missiles are down to a scatter. Their drones are being blown up all over the place, including their manufacturing of drones."

While Trump claimed that US action in Iran would last for at least four to five weeks, on Monday, Trump claimed that Washington has been “far ahead" in its timeline and the conflict could come to an end soon.

However, responding to Trump’s statement, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said that it will be the one who will “determine the end of the war".
