Bangladesh has condemned a deadly drone attack on a United Nations base in Sudan that killed six of its peacekeepers.

Bangladesh has strongly condemned a drone attack on a United Nations base in Sudan that killed six of its peacekeepers. The attack took place in Abyei, where Bangladeshi soldiers were serving under the UN peacekeeping mission.

In a press release, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the country was deeply shocked and saddened by the loss of lives. It confirmed that six Bangladeshi peacekeepers were killed and eight others were injured in the strike.
