Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The final trading day of what has otherwise been a lacklustre week for the Nifty 50, will see the index make another attempt at moving past the resistance band of 25,650. A lot will depend on how its biggest constituents, Banks and Reliance Industries, move, as the volatility seen in these stocks has resulted in the index wavering at higher levels.

The Nifty Bank has managed to close above 61,000 in seven out of the last eight sessions, but failure to cross the previous day's high through the week would be concerning.

60,800 on the downside is firm support for the index. For the Nifty, despite multiple attempts on Thursday by the bears, managed to defend 25,400 on the downside yet again.

Tech shares will be in focus after the reaction to Nvidia's results and the fall seen in stocks like Salesforce in extended trading. Any follow-up buying in defence stocks would be watched for, as will be the block deal in Vishal Mega Mart.
