Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has bagged multiple orders worth ₹1,978 crore from Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), the company said in three separate regulatory filings.


Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, RVNL informed that it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from NMDC Limited for the “construction of residential towers at Iron Ore Deposit-5 at Bacheli, Chhattisgarh.” The disclosures were made two days after the company received the LoAs.


Just two days ago, RVNL secured a contract worth ₹270.22 crore (including applicable taxes) from Central Railway.

RVNL is a Navratna public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, focused on executing rail infrastructure projects including new lines, doubling and gauge conversion, electrification, bridges, metro works and station redevelopment in India and overseas.


The company primarily earns through EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contracts, along with project consultancy and financial resource mobilisation. It partners with contractors (e.g., L&T for ₹5,200 crore, Tata Projects ₹4,500 crore, BHEL ₹2,800 crore) for execution while managing overall delivery.


In Q3 FY26 (ended December 2025), RVNL reported a consolidated net profit of ₹324 crore, up 4% year-on-year, on revenue of ₹4,684 crore, which rose 2.6%. EBITDA margin stood at 5.92%, ahead of its 4–5% guidance. For the first nine months of FY26, net profit fell 16% YoY to ₹687 crore, while revenue increased 1.6% to ₹13,716 crore.

The company’s order book remains strong at over ₹60,000 crore, supported by continued railway capex and infrastructure reforms.


Shares of RVNL were trading 0.4% higher at ₹319.05 on the NSE at 15:00 IST.
