Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Falling in line with the early cues, the Indian indices started on a positive note. The Nifty index surged by over 100 points in the opening hours, rising towards the 25,200 mark. The Sensex index also surged by over 350 points, trading above 82,000. The shares of Vodafone Idea and Airtel traded low with minor cuts. The shares of IndiaMART surged by over 5% after a positive brokerage rating.

The shares of Vodafone Idea and Airtel traded low with minor cuts. The shares of IndiaMART surged by over 5% after a positive brokerage rating. The shares of MTNL surged 14%.
In addition, while the Nifty Midcap struggled with lukewarm growth, the Nifty small-cap index surged by over 1.3%
After an eventful session yesterday, the GIFT Nifty is trading higher with a premium of over 80 points, indicating a positive start to the day's trade. The Nifty is facing exhaustion at higher levels despite making a new 2025 high on Tuesday. The index heads into mid-week trading after a near-300-point cool-off from the highs of the day.
The HDB Financial IPO, the markets will also be reacting to the news of the Reserve Bank of India conducting a ₹1 lakh crore VRRR auction on Friday to mop up higher surplus liquidity in the market.
