Stock Market Live Updates: The Nifty is trading with gains of about 30 points. The Sensex is trading with a rise of 150 points. The Nifty is around 24,650. Infosys, HDFC bank and Wipro are among the major gainers at the Nifty 50 end.
Sensex Today | Stock Market Live Updates: The Nifty is trading above the 24,650 mark with a rise of 40 points. The Sensex is up 150 points, inching closer to the 80,700 mark, making a strong case for closing trade for the week in green.
The broader markets are trading in a mix. The Nifty Midcap and Smallcap indices are trading under pressure. The Nifty Midcap index is down 200 points.
When we look at some of the buzzing stocks at the bourse, the shares of Muthoot Fin surged, hitting a record high after the company announced its results for Q1 results. Vishal Mart stocks are also trading high.
Earnings season for the June quarter will reach its conclusion today with the last few companies reporting results.
Vodafone Idea, Inox Wind, Indian Oil Corporation, Ashok Leyland, Glenmark Pharma, are some of the stocks that will be rounding off the earnings season by reporting numbers later in the day.
