Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: With the big domestic trigger out of the way last week with the RBI policy, the Nifty now braces for yet another IPO-heavy week and global cues to determine the road ahead.
With the year now drawing to a close, the volumes and participation will start to dwindle, resulting in most of the remaining sessions of 2025 being rangebound.
The biggest trigger this week comes from the US Federal Reserve, which will announce its policy decision on Wednesday night. Additionally, Dalal Street also braces itself for yet another IPO-heavy week, with five companies, including ICICI Prudential AMC, vying for investor attention and cumulatively looking to raise ₹14,500 crore.
A dovish RBI policy meant that the Nifty recouped most of its losses last week, and closed just below the 26,200 mark. Friday's high of 26,202 will be the first level to watch on the upside, while 25,900 - 25,950 zone is emerging as a short-term base for the index.
The Nifty Bank outperformed post-policy and will be aiming to reclaim the 60,000 mark as well. Stocks like Eternal, Lenskart, Pine Labs, PG Electroplast, Kaynes Tech, Vodafone Idea, among others will remain in the spotlight.
