The Indian markets have started the new month on a relatively positive note. The Nifty index, after opening, surged by over 70 points, pushing the overall value to close to 25,600.
The Sensex index also strengthened itself, making gains of over 200 points.
The shares of Gabriel India surged by 20%, and the shares of Apollo Hospitals were also in focus amid a restructuring exercise.
