Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty Index is up 110 points, trading above the 25,100 mark, for the first time since August 21. The Sensex on the other hand is trading with an uptick of over 350 points. The index is now above the 81,900. Infosys, Hindalco, Maruti, Tata Motors.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index is trading in green with gains of close to 110 points; the 50-stock index is now trading above the 25,100 mark. This comes amid positive developments on the US-India trade talks front, but nothing concrete yet.
The Sensex index is up over 350 points, taking the 30-stock index to the 81,650 mark. The Nifty bank index, after slipping into the red after starting the day in green and is fell nearly 50 points. Now the index has rebounded by over 110 points.
In the broader market, the Nifty Midcap index is up 200 points; meanwhile, the Nifty smallcap index is up, almost in line with the frontline indices.
For the Nifty, the high of 25,154, which becomes the recent swing high, is a major level on the upside for the index.
Some of the biggest gainers among the top 500 companies at the Nifty end are JBM Autom HFCL ltd, BEML, First Cry, Railtel, Samvardhan Motherson among other stocks.
