SEBI Board Meeting Live Updates: Market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) will be holding its board meeting on Friday, September 12, where a slew of changes with regards to the market are expected. There is a lot of speculation regarding potential changes to F&O expiries, some tweaks to IPO norms, and more such measures. CNBC-TV18 had reported on Thursday, that the regulator is likely to issue a consultation paper by the next month with regards to the weekly expiry and have a glide path towards a monthly expiry. Sources had also said that the consultation paper may also put out recommendations towards boosting cash volumes. There have also been talks with regards to easing IPO eligibility norms for very large companies and getting more time to achieve the minimum public shareholding threshold.
