Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are fighting with volatility as the Nifty index trades around 100 points lower. The Nifty Bank is also down, falling 500 points, dropping to 58,600. IndiGo, ICICI Bank and L&T are among the biggest laggards.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian market is back in the red, and after a breather of a session, the Nifty index is down about 100 points, falling towards 24,650. The Sensex index is down over 400 points, drifting further away from 80,000.
The bigger worry is oil prices, with Brent having made an intraday high above $86, while the US crude closed above $81 per barrel after surging 8.5% last night.
For Nifty, 24,500 continues to hold the key for the index, while for the Nifty Bank, 60,000 remains distant, as the index will fight to first hold 59,000 and then 58,500 on the downside.
