However, despite the 6% overnight jump in Brent crude, prices remain below the $80 a barrel mark.

While the 24,482 to 24,530 zone has now emerged as a new congestion point for the Nifty, it still managed a higher-high and a higher-low on Tuesday. The Nifty Bank too remains above the 58,000 mark, although that level will be key to defend on the downside.
