The Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has confirmed that satellite imagery shows recent damage to entrance buildings at Iran's underground Natanz fuel enrichment plant. The agency stated it does not expect radiological consequences and detected no additional impact at the facility itself, which was severely damaged during conflict in June. Iran's envoy Reza Najafi accused Israel of directly targeting nuclear facilities and warned of serious consequences. Iranian media reported loud explosions near the nuclear facility and an airbase in Isfahan. US President Donald Trump emphasised that Iran will never have nuclear weapons, calling an Iranian regime armed with long-range missiles and nuclear weapons 'an intolerable threat'. So far, no elevation of radiation levels above usual background levels has been detected in countries bordering Iran. The Natanz facility has long been central to international concerns over Tehran's nuclear programme.
