A day after Donald Trump announced a five-day pause in the West Asia war, Israeli forces launched fresh air strikes in the heart of Tehran, triggering widespread power outages across the capital city. Trump extended the original deadline on the Strait of Hormuz, giving Iran five days before further American action on energy sites, but Israel shows no signs of slowing down. Iran launched a fresh wave of retaliatory missile and drone strikes against Israel. A barrage of missiles was intercepted over West Bank, while another missile hit a residential building in Tel Aviv, setting several cars ablaze.
