'Iran gave big present', says Trump amid Middle East conflict

Donald Trump has claimed that Iran made a valuable concession related to oil and gas and the Strait of Hormuz, calling it a 'very big present' worth a tremendous amount of money. Trump suggested the gift indicated the US was negotiating with the right people in Iran to reach a deal to end hostilities. US Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth also credited Trump for allowing the military to strike Iran as viciously as possible, boasting that the US negotiates with bombs.
