Trump further said the United States would hit Iran “very hard” in the coming week as the war escalates. He described Iranian leaders as “deranged scumbags”.
Iran Closes Strait of Hormuz: Iran confirmed the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, banning US and Israeli-linked vessels from passing through the strait. Other ships are required to seek Iranian clearance before transit. Following the announcement, Brent crude prices rose above $100 a barrel.
