Witnesses reported hearing multiple blasts in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Manama and Kuwait City, signalling a widening impact of the conflict across the region. Iran’s continued and unprecedented bombardment has shaken a Gulf long viewed as a haven of peace and security in an otherwise turbulent Middle East.

Dubai has ordered hotels to assist stranded tourists and prevent evictions, while Emirates has suspended all Dubai flights amid regional airspace closures.
Casualties and damage
Bahrain’s interior ministry confirmed that Iranian strikes killed one person, marking the island nation’s first fatality since the campaign began. The death brings the total number of fatalities across the Gulf to five since Saturday.
According to authorities, debris from an intercepted missile caused a fire aboard a foreign ship in the port city of Salman, killing one worker and seriously injuring two others. Since Saturday, civilian infrastructure across the Gulf, including airports, seaports, residential buildings and hotels, has been hit.

IDF Says Senior Iranian Intelligence Officials Killed In Operation ‘Roaring Lion’
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it has eliminated senior officials from Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence during the opening phase of its military campaign, codenamed Operation Roaring Lion, describing the strike as a significant blow to Tehran’s intelligence apparatus.
According to the IDF, the operation was carried out using “precise intelligence” and targeted senior figures from the ministry, which Israel describes as the Iranian regime’s primary intelligence body.
Among those killed were Sayed Yahya Hamidi, the deputy minister responsible for Israel-related intelligence activities, and Jalal Pour Hossein, who headed the ministry’s espionage division.
The IDF said Hamidi had overseen operations aimed at Jewish and Western targets as well as Iranian dissidents both inside the country and abroad. Pour Hossein was described as a key figure in Iran’s espionage network.
Israeli military officials said additional senior figures linked to the ministry were also killed in the strike. According to the IDF, the targeted officials were involved in coordinating international attacks and assisting the Iranian government in suppressing domestic opposition, including during recent anti-government protests.
The Israeli military also said that documents recovered by troops operating in Gaza during the ongoing war indicated repeated attempts to establish a joint intelligence coordination center in Lebanon involving Hezbollah, Hamas and Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The alleged initiative was said to be overseen by personnel from Iran’s intelligence ministry.
