'Doodh Ka Doodh, Paani Ka Paani': Rahul Gandhi Vows Caste-based Census in Various Sectors

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said that if the party wins the upcoming general elections, they will carry out a caste-based census in various institutions such as industries, media, bureaucracy, and others.

Speaking rally in Rajasthan’s Bikaner to support Congress candidates Govind Ram Meghwal from Bikaner and Kuldeep Indora from Ganganagar, he said, “We will check every institution, such as media, companies, bureaucracy, to see if there is any representation from the backward class, Dalit, Adivasi, and poor general classes.”

Gandhi further asserted, “Through caste-based census, doodh ka doodh paani ka paani ho jayega, sab pata lag jayega.”

In his rally speech, the Congress leader also mentioned that that the party will conduct an economic survey. “First, we will count how many people belong to different castes to know who needs more help. Then, we will look at how the country is doing financially and make plans to share money, jobs, and other benefits with those who need it the most,” he said.
