Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in an X post on Monday, said that diplomacy has been “reinvigorated" even as Kyiv faces heightened international pressure to consider the new peace framework advanced by the United States.

In his X post, Zelenskyy said that at this critical moment, “Everyone is offering support, giving advice, providing information, and I am grateful to each and every person who is giving this help to us, to Ukraine."

He stressed that the diplomatic push must translate into realistic, meaningful outcomes.

“It is important to ensure that the steps to end the war are effective, and that everything is doable," he wrote.

Reaffirming Kyiv’s long-standing stance, he added, “Ukraine has never wanted war, and we will never be an obstacle to peace."

However, the Ukrainian President underscored that any progress hinges on core national priorities, saying the country’s “first priority is a reliable peace, guaranteed security, respect for our people, and respect for everyone who gave their lives defending Ukraine from Russian aggression."

He said the strength of Ukraine’s negotiating position is reinforced by public sentiment, noting that “millions of Ukrainians clearly support our state’s position."

That support, he said, is “firm" when it comes to defending independence and sovereignty.

In a video accompanied by his X post, Zelenskyy offered a detailed glimpse into the day’s diplomacy.

Zelenskyy said that from early morning, “the Ukrainian delegation has already held a number of meetings with the American side and with our European partners."

Talks were continuing in Switzerland, he said, with Ukrainian teams working “overnight."

“It is important that there is a conversation with the American representatives," he said, adding that there was now a signal that President Trump’s team hears us."

He also confirmed personal calls with several Western leaders, saying, “I also spoke today with the President of France Emmanuel Macron, with the Prime Ministers of Canada, Croatia and Luxembourg," and “with the Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz."

Zelenskyy issued a sharp internal warning after intelligence briefings indicated attempts to inject Russian talking points into Ukrainian discourse.

“I would very much like there to be no anti-Ukrainian signals from Ukraine," he said.

Intelligence partners, he noted, were reporting that “the Russian position has begun to enter, including through some subjects from Ukraine. This does not help."

He urged national responsibility and unity: “With a Ukrainian passport, you need to feel responsible for Ukraine." He said “millions of Ukrainians" clearly back the state’s stance and emphasised that “people must win from all political decisions."

Zelenskyy closed by reiterating Kyiv’s disciplined approach to negotiations.

“We are working very seriously, very attentively on every step, on all documents, with all partners," he said, thanking all global leaders who feel that what can be decided now," the Ukrainian President said.
