In a significant development, the website of Geo News, one of Pakistan’s leading news channels, was hacked on Sunday, with the hackers displaying messages against the Pakistani military.
After the Geo News website was hacked, the message displayed on the screen read, “Your Army is Your Enemy." Another message read, “Tumhari Fauj Kr Makhsoos Halkey Ne Poorie Tabahie Se Dochaar Kr Diya Hai — Is Ke Khilaaaf Kharey Ho Jao — Is Ke Saamney Kharey Ho Jaao (Your army and your designated constituency have brought complete destruction — Rise against it — Stand up to it)."
