Video: Narrow escape for 2 kids as Israeli air strike hits Lebanon's Kayfoun

A devastating Israeli airstrike targeted a residential area in Lebanon's Kaifon district, southeast of Beirut, on 8 April as part of 'Operation Eternal Darkness'. A CCTV footage accessed showed a narrow escape for two young girls who were walking when the airstrike hit the residential area. While local reports confirmed at least six people lost their lives in Kayfoun and 13 others were injured. The strike was part of a massive aerial campaign where Israel launched approximately 100 airstrikes within 10 minutes across Lebanon. Israel claims the operations target Hezbollah infrastructure used in a proxy war supported by Iran; however, the presence of civilians, including an infant or toddler in the stroller, highlights the mounting humanitarian cost. The residential street was filled with people at the time of the attack, raising concerns over the impact of the ongoing conflict on the civilian population.
