While the street is anticipating a 25 basis points rate cut, with the CME FedWatch pegging the odds a 89%, all eyes will be on Jerome Powell's commentary on the future of interest rates in 2026. Money and bond markets are pricing in two rate cuts from the FOMC in 2026. Ahead of the FOMC decision, Silver and Copper prices are at record highs in anticipation of a rate cut, while Gold prices are holding above the $4,200 an ounce mark.
