Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets are looking to mark a recovery after a decline in recent sessions. The Nifty index is currently trading with an uptick of around 20 points, with the index moving around 25,850. The Nifty Bank has weakened, as the banking index is now about 100 points lower, trading around 59,600. Hindalco, Adani Ports, Trent, M&M, Bajaj Finserv, and Kotak Bank are among the major gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets appear to be fighting hard to push back the volatility, as the Nifty index is on the rise with an uptick of over 60 points, rising above the 25,900 mark. The Sensex index is also on the rise, as the index is now over 200 points up. The 30-stock index is inching towards the 84,900 mark.
For Nifty, the previous sessions' low holds the key for the Nifty, while 25,900 - 26,000 zone could be a hurdle for the index.
The Nifty Bank index is also joining the surge wagon as the index is over 100 points up, trading above the 59,600 mark. IndiGo shares, after starting as a Nifty 50 chart topper, slumped over 3% to extend its losses.
The Adani Enterprises rights issue closes for subscription today, while Swiggy has launched a QIP to raise up to ₹10,000 crore.
