Iran Israel War News Live | US Israel Attack Iran Today Live Updates: As West Asia war enters it’s fifth day, we bring you the latest updates.

Here’s what happened so far:

Tensions in the Middle East have sharply escalated as the United States and Israel continue military operations against Iran, triggering retaliatory strikes, rising casualties and global economic shocks. Diplomatic contradictions, regional security fears and disrupted oil routes are deepening uncertainty across the region.

US Consulate in Dubai attacked

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said all personnel were accounted for after a drone struck the grounds of the US consulate in Dubai. A source told CNN the drone was suspected to be Iranian. Earlier, the US closed embassies in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Lebanon and warned Americans to leave some countries in the region.

New US strikes

US President Donald Trump said most of Iran’s military installations had been “knocked out” and confirmed new strikes targeting Iranian leadership. Israel also struck a compound linked to the body responsible for electing Iran’s next supreme leader. Trump later contradicted Rubio’s rationale, saying he ordered US forces to join Israel because he believed Iran was preparing to strike first.

Rising death toll in Iran

At least 780 people have been killed in US and Israeli bombing across Iran, according to the semi-official Tasnim news agency citing the Iranian Red Crescent. The death toll since Saturday later rose to at least 787 after strikes hit the Assembly of Experts building in Qom.

Iran’s retaliation expands

Tehran continued retaliatory attacks for a fourth consecutive night, with strikes reported on Washington’s embassy in Dubai and a port in Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates.

Oil market turmoil

Global markets reacted sharply after Iran declared the Strait of Hormuz closed. Trump said the US navy was ready to escort tankers through the waterway. Shipping disruptions pushed US gasoline prices to their largest one-day rise since 2005, while oil prices climbed and stocks fell. Iraq also slowed or halted production at the Rumaila field and the West Qurna 2 project.
