Stock Market Live Updates: The Nifty index is trading below 24,450, with cuts of around 140 points. The Sensex is trading with a deficit of about 430 points. The Indian markets are showing resilience following Trump's tariff doubling, increasing it to 50% on Indian exports to the US.

The broader markets are under immense pressure. The Nifty Midcap 100 index, after losing early on in the day, made gains, only to fall about 400 points from the day's high.

The Nifty Pharma sectoral index is on the rise after being under pressure after Trump's threats of levying 250% on pharma products.

Yesterday, the US President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order to impose another 25% tariff on Indian exports, taking the total to 50%.

Apart from macro and trade-related issues, the earnings cycle and the reaction to that are also in full swing.

Earnings season, at the fag end for the quarter, will bring reactions from stocks like Trent, Hero MotoCorp, BHEL, HUDCO and Sula Vineyards, while Titan, LIC, Biocon, GCPL and HPCL are some of the major companies reporting results today.
