Trump announced a travel ban for citizens from Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, Congo-Brazzaville, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen.

The new travel ban announced by the United States President Donald Trump comes into effect from Monday, June 9. Earlier on Wednesday, US President Trump announced the ban that restricts citizens of several countries from entering the US.
A complete travel ban is in place for nationals from 12 countries, including Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, Congo-Brazzaville, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.
Besides, a partial ban was announced for citizens of Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela, with exceptions granted for major sporting events, some dual nationals and Afghan nationals holding special immigration visas.
