In contrast, Snap dropped 17% after its revenue came in slightly below expectations, while Advanced Micro Devices fell 5% after reporting adjusted earnings per share that missed estimates. The gains came after a weak performance on Tuesday, which marked the S&P 500’s fifth loss in six sessions and the Dow’s sixth in the past seven.
