Considering Pakistan's unprovoked attack, the district administration in Pathankot have asked all hotels to shut down and the guests asked to leave immediately.

Colonel Sofiya Qureshi along with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh addressed a press conference on Saturday morning.
Days after India struck terror camps in Pakistan under Operation Sindoor, the neighbouring country has resorted to “misadventure" targeting civilian areas and infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir, and Punjab. Colonel Sofiya Qureshi on Saturday informed that Pakistan has been moving troops in forward areas with “offensive intent to escalate the tension".
Considering Pakistan’s unprovoked attack, the district administration in Pathankot have asked all hotels to shut down and the guests asked to leave immediately.
The neighbouring country launched Byker YIHA III Kamikaze drones in Amritsar, endangering the residential areas of Punjab. However, the attempt was thwarted by Army Air Defence guns at 5 am, destroying the same in the air, said the defence officials. “The drone was aimed to target civilian areas and innocent civilians," they added.

At a press conference with Colonel Sofiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said, “I have said on numerous earlier occasions, it is Pakistani actions that have constituted provocations and escalations. In response, India has defended and reacted in a responsible and measured fashion to these provocations and escalations by the Pakistani side. Earlier this morning, we saw a repeat of this escalatory and provocative pattern."
The Defence Ministry in the morning shared visuals of Pakistan’s attack on worship like the famous Shambhu Temple and residential areas in Jammu.

“Multiple armed drones have been sent through the night, endangering civilians and religious sites. The Indian Armed Forces remain vigilant and are committed to defending the sovereignty of the nation," the Ministry said.
Colonel Qureshi further elaborated on Pakistan not closing its airspace to passenger flights, and using civilian airliners as shields while launching drones and missiles at Indian cities. The government on Friday had backed its statement with data from flight-tracking application FlightRadar24.
“It is a matter of concern that taking the cover of civilian aircraft taking off from Lahore, Pakistan misused international air routes. So that they can hide their activities. Such tactics compelled Indian air defence system to act with great patience while ensuring civilian security…," Colonel Qureshi said.
While India has been successfully foiling Pakistan’s attack, the desperate neighbours have been indulging in spreading misinformation like “damaging India’s airbases", including the one in Haryana’s Sirsa.
The government showed pictures and videos of the air bases to fact-check the claims.
“The Indian armed forces have successfully engaged and retaliated to the attacks. However, airbases in Udhampur, Pathankot, Adampur, Bhujj and Bhatinda station equipment were damaged and personnel were injured… Pakistan has used high-speed missiles at 1:40 am to target Punjab’s airbase station… A condemning and unprofessional act was done by Pakistan by targeting hospitals and schools in air bases in Srinagar, Awantipora and Udhampur," Qureshi added.
