Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets are trading on a cautious note. The Nifty index, after starting in red, recovered to rise by over 20 points, to push past 25,600 mark. The Sensex index is up close to 100 points, climbing 83,550 mark. Asian Paints M&M, Nestle, Axis Bank and Titan are among the big gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty, after a euphoric session yesterday, is now trading with minimal gains of around 20 points. The index is above the 25,600 mark. Here, 25,625 is now the new swing high for the Nifty. The Nifty Bank is now just 200 points away from its all-time high of 57,628.
When it comes to Sensex, the index is up over 100 points, with the 30-stock index rising over 83,600
Today is an earnings-heavy day, led by index heavyweight Reliance Industries, which will report after market hours.
Over 40 important companies report results today, including Polycab, Havells India, JSW Steel, REC, IndiaMART, Tata Technologies, Dixon Technologies, Bank of India, CEAT among others. There will also be earnings reactions from Infosys and Wipro, ADRs of which fell 2.5% each overnight. Jio Financial Services, Metro brands, LTIMindtree, Cyient, among others will also be reacting to results.
