Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets are trading under immense pressure. The Nifty index is down over 100 points, with the index falling towards 25,550. The Nifty Bank index is also under pressure and could possibly breach the 59,000 mark. Some of the major laggards of the day include Eicher Motors, Max Health, Bajaj Finance, Eternal, Bajaj Auto, M&M and Larsen & Toubro.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets could not have asked for a worse return to the bourse, as the Nifty index fell over 120 points, dipping below the 25,550 mark. The Sensex index is also under pressure, with the 30-stock index falling towards the 83,100 mark.
The Nifty Bank is also under pressure, falling nearly 200 points. In addition, 59,000 on the downside is key, courtesy of HDFC Bank's underperformance.
As for the Nifty, the index would first look to move back above the 25,750 - 25,800 levels before making an attempt towards the 26,000 mark. On the downside, 25,600 will be the first important level to watch.
Earnings season begins for the Nifty 50 stocks today with TCS and HCLTech reporting after market hours. Anand Rathi Wealth is the other company reporting results today.
