Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty will keenly look at the 61.8% retracement of the rally from the August 29 low to the recent swing high of 25,448, which comes to levels of 24,803. On the upside, 25,000 remains the first barrier. IT stocks, having wiped out nearly ₹2 lakh crore in market cap over the last five sessions, will be in focus again today after Accenture's results.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty 50 index heads into the final trading day of the week having broken below key levels in a five-day losing run, and having given up more than half of the 1,000-point rally it witnessed from the lows of August 29.
Thursday's template saw every potential intraday recovery getting sold into, and the index ended at the day's low. The next important level on the downside for the Nifty is the 61.8% retracement of the rally from the August 29 low to the recent swing high of 25,448, which comes to levels of 24,803. On the upside, 25,000 remains the first barrier.
IT stocks, having wiped out nearly ₹2 lakh crore in market cap over the last five sessions, will be in focus again today after Accenture's results. The Pharma sector will also be in the spotlight after the 100% tariff announcement on branded and patented products by US President Donald Trump. Vodafone Idea's AGR plea also gets heard today.
