Stock Market Live Updates: The markets are marking a sharp recovery. The Nifty is trading with gains of over 40 points. The Sensex has now come 900 points off the day's low.
Stock Market Live Updates: After losing over 200 points in the first half of the day's trade, the Nifty index has recovered close to 200 points. The Index is now trading above 24,900. The Sensex, after losing over 600 points in the early hours of the day's trade, has recovered to trade with gains of over 200 points.
The broader markets continue to be under pressure, as the Nifty Midcap index trades with a decline of about 0.46%, while the Nifty Smallcap index is trading with a decline of about 0.29%.
In Nifty, Adani Enterprises, Asian Paints, and Reliance are trading with losses of 1%.
Some of the biggest gainers of the day include the likes of HEG, Kaynes, and Sagility, among the Nifty 500 stocks.
The Nifty Bank, after trading in red, has now turned green, recovering 600 points from its day's lows.
