Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index, after trading with major gains, has now fallen sharply. The Nifty declined to fall below 24,600. The Sensex index is also trading with cuts of over 100 points, dropping to 80,200. Cipla, Dr Reddy's, Asian Paints, ICICI bank and Kotak Bank are among the losers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: On the day of NSE's revised expiry day, the Nifty index, after starting on a cautious note, has pushed itself below. The 50-stock index is down 60 points, falling below the 24,600 mark.
The Sensex is also trading with losses, declining over 250 points, stumbling towards the 80,000 mark. The Nifty Bank index, after having a subdued day, has fallen a major 339.10 points
The Midcap and Smallcap indices are running fast and are holding strong compared to the frontline indices yet again. The Nifty Midcap 100 index is up 0.22%. The Nifty Smallcap index is up 0.42%.
Some of the biggest volume buzzers among Nifty 500 stocks are Renka Sugar, Balrampur Chini, ITI, Apollo Tyre, Triveni Engineering, and Sun TV are among the big movers.
