Stock Market Live Updates: After Trump's speech that almost wiped out the market's hard-earned gains from yesterday, the markets have managed to mark a remarkable recovery. The Nifty is now down 40 points, at to 22,600. The Nifty bank index is down 240 points, falling towards 50,000 points. Sun Pharma, IndiGo and and Asian Paints are amongst the biggest gainers.

Stock Market Live Update: The Indian markets have staged a remarkable comeback after Donald Trump's speech, doubling down on his war on Iran. Quelling all optimism, the Nifty index is down just 40 points, trading around 22,600. The Sensex index is down over 130 points, falling to 72,800.
Brent Crude prices have now surged to $105. The Dow Futures have also fallen, slipping by over 500 points.
Multiple moving parts dominate Nifty proceedings on the final trading day of yet another truncated week. Today is the Sensex weekly expiry.
For the Nifty 23,000 remains the key for the index, while holding 51,000 will be key for the Nifty Bank.
Currency markets will open for trade after Wednesday's holiday and will react to the latest steps by the RBI. Companies have already begun reporting their Q4 and FY26 business updates, and plenty of action is expected on that front too.
